Character Name: Jesse Porter
Character Face: Coby Bell
Occupation: Counterintelligence Expert/CIA Spy
Status: Single

Bio:

Jesse Porter is a counterintelligence expert whom Michael unwittingly burns. Michael accidentally burned him when he went looking for some classified files on a terrorist that Jesse had information on. He comes to Michael for help, hoping to find and kill the people responsible for burning him, not knowing that it was Michael that burned him in the first place. Gradually Jesse becomes part of Michael's team. When Jesse discovers the truth about his burn notice, he briefly considers killing Michael. In the mid-season finale of Season 4, Jesse has the opportunity to just that by shooting through Michael to kill the man holding him. Though it is an uneasy truce, Jesse decides grudgingly to continue to work with the team, and he and Michael slowly reconcile. Jesse was eventually reinstated to his counterintelligence position that he was blacklisted from, but soon finds he can no longer tolerate the "red tape" to do government work, and takes a job with a private security firm. While working for this private security firm, Jesse still has time and now the resources to still work with Michael, Sam and Fiona.
